Grades after Exam review

Dear students,

I hope this mensage finds you all well. In our meeting on the review of the normal epoch exam last Friday, one of your colleagues raised an issue about the exam's question on Trade relations in a small open economy where and X and M equations were given (because the questions follow different orders in the exam, you may not be able to idenfity if by the number but in the current FORMS corresponds to question 16). The issue is: to evaluate competing alternative answers, one needs a data (GDP=200) that is given in one of the choices (which is shuffled across exams) and not in the heading of the question.

Typically, in an exam in a classroom, a student would ask a clarification from the teacher, but in an online exam where sound may be switched off and the possibiliy of some added anxiety by new plataform of the exam, I understand that asking these clarifications may be more difficult. So, after careful consideration of the issue, I have decided to give an extra point for that question. The new grades sent to the secretary will reflect this decision.

I take the opportunity to draw your attention to the guidelines set by the presidency of the ISEG in a comunication to all students in May regarding use of the resort epoch exam for improvements of grade for those with a final grade of 14 and above and the possibility of an oral exam. Please take a look at items 5 and 7 of that document that is linked here (https://www.iseg.ulisboa.pt/aquila/getFile.do?method=getFile&fileId=1381864).

Congratulations to everyone that did the final exam of the normal epoch and the majority that passed. It was a pleasure having the opportunity of teaching you, and for those that will not take the resort or special epoch exams, all the best in the remainder of your course.
