Objectivos

To understand the basic concepts of information systems and information technology.

To learn methods and techniques of information systems analysis and database design.

To use Microsoft Excel and Access in managerial work.

- Hardware. Types of computers. Computer components;
- Software: Types of software and programming languages;
- Computer networks and the Internet. Electronic Commerce;
- Using Microsoft Excel in business problems;
- Introduction to software development methods and techniques- Database technology;
- Information systems analysis: Entity-relationship model;
- Systems analysis software: Managing business processes and CASE tools (Computer-Aided Software Engineering);
- Implementing databases using a relational database management system.
