Objectivos
This course is a reading seminar on productivity and growth-related topics. Particularly, the course will focus on subjects such as the role of firms' debt accumulation on productivity growth, the effect of credit supply shocks on productivity through different transmission channels, as well as productivity convergence/divergence dynamics among firms at the frontier and laggard (non-frontier) firms.

Metodologia de avaliação
Two individual 25 page essays.
The students need to develop the topics in terms of two written essays, which will be then used later on as a starting block for their thesis.
